The kids had a great time and learned a lot on this trip! Plenty of trails and places to explore. It makes for a great afternoon outing with possibilities of seeing deer and other wildlife around the dam. Be sure to check out the grist mill and Norris watershed if you go.
Cozy little cabins and wonderful trails to hike. Some of the trails are more strenuous than others, so bring good shoes and plenty of water and snacks. A really neat state park.
Great park ..I think the brewery went under out of business.. well they had bad beer. One level above miller
Nice stay! Early November and cabins and park empty. Average, but nice frame cabin w/knotty pine interior. Good fireplace. Lots to see and do in and around park. Had over 12 hour power outage in park with a big power dam. Kinda funny, oh well. 1
Great views, walking trails, and historic places. Good for relaxing walks, morning runs, or just getting out of town. Must-see during fall
